Okeechobee's
First Book of Legislative Requests Gets Rave Reviews
Joint
efforts by Okeechobee County, the City of
Okeechobee, the Okeechobee Utility Authority and the
Economic Council of Okeechobee with assistance from
Craig A. Smith & Associates Governmental Services
resulted in a notebook of legislative requests and
concerns of the Okeechobee community. The book was
well-received by the Legislative Delegation and the
Delegation Chair, State Representative Mike Horner,
commented that it would make a great model for
others to follow. The substantial amount of time and
great suggestions that were contributed to this
project made it a tremendous success! See the book's
cover, designed by Sandra "Sam" Phares and cover art
by her husband, Brad Phares.
